Stephen D. Timmons
Steve has been with Hovey Williams since 1971. He has extensive experience in all phases of complex mechanical patent prosecution, expertise in agricultural machinery and significant litigation experience in a variety of mechanical technologies.
Steve first became interested in a career in patent law during high school. Later, while in engineering school, he interviewed Kansas City patent attorney Orville Gold, who encouraged Steve to continue his plan to become a patent attorney. After being accepted into law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he clerked for Hovey Williams until graduation, when he joined the firm.
