Crissa focuses on the preparation and prosecution of foreign and domestic patent applications, with an emphasis on biotechnology and the chemical arts. She finds the practice of patent law to be extremely rewarding – allowing her to utilize her writing skills and expertise while working with inventors on the cutting edge of technology.

She joined Hovey Williams in the fall of 2007, after having clerked for the firm for two years during law school. It was her original summer law clerk position at Hovey Williams that inspired Crissa to pursue her growing interest in patent law.
