Kameron prepares and prosecutes patent applications for inventions in the mechanical, chemical and geophysical arts. He helps clients manage infringement risk by performing freedom-to-operate and validity studies in a variety of technological areas. In addition, Kameron negotiates and drafts intellectual property license agreements.

Kameron's interest and experience in patent law began in 1997, when he worked as a summer intern in the patent law department of Phillips Petroleum Company (now ConocoPhillips Company). Upon graduation from law school, he accepted a full-time position with the company, where he practiced patent law until joining Hovey Williams in late 2000.
