Hovey Williams Adds New Attorney

Overland Park, KS—Hovey Williams LLP, a Kansas City-area based intellectual property law firm, recently announced the addition of Adam C. Rehm to its team.

Rehm is a registered patent attorney and former U.S. patent examiner.  His practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation.  Rehm has significant experience consulting with executives as well as research and development teams regarding patent portfolio management, valuation, and development, including offensive and defensive patenting strategies and implementation of corporate intellectual property standards.

Rehm earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.  He is also a graduate of Pittsburg State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in plastics engineering.  Rehm maintains active involvement in a variety of professional and civic organizations, including the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City, the Inns of Court at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the Plastics Advisory Council at Pittsburg State University.
