Hovey Williams Named a Top Trademark Firm by Intellectual Property Today and Trademark Insider
Overland Park, KS—Hovey Williams LLP is pleased to announce the firm was recently recognized as one of the nation’s top trademark law firms by two of the industry’s leading publications; Intellectual Property Today and Trademark Insider.
Intellectual Property Today included Hovey Williams in its list of the 2010 Top Trademark Firms. The firm was ranked 37th out of 210 U.S. law firms and individuals. Intellectual Property Today’s list was organized based on the number of trademark registrations issued during 2009. Intellectual Property Today’s list was published in its May 2010 issue.
Trademark Insider included Hovey Williams in its list of the Top 100 Trademark Law Firms for two separate time periods; the fourth quarter of 2009 and the 2009 calendar year. The firm was ranked 36th on the list for the fourth quarter with 110 trademark applications filed and 58th for the 2009 calendar year with 344 applications filed. Hovey Williams’s 2009 cumulative ranking was its highest in the past three years, after claiming the 61st spot for 2008 and 70th for 2007.
