Jaclyn focuses her practice on intellectual property prosecution and counseling. Her patent prosecution experience includes the preparation and prosecution of electrical, electronic, audio, computer, software, communication, and mechanical patent applications. Specifically, she has drafted and prosecuted patent applications for aerospace technologies, manufacture of composite materials, factory robotics, GPS, agricultural equipment, hunting equipment, medical devices, and optical sensors. Jaclyn also has experience with various post-issuance proceedings, such as drafting inter partes review petitions. Her practice includes patent infringement and validity analysis, patentability studies, intellectual property licensing and confidentiality agreements.

Jaclyn holds an electrical engineering degree (with an emphasis in audio engineering) from the University of Miami and prosecuted patent applications as a patent agent with Hovey Williams for 10 years before attending law school at University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she graduated summa cum laude. Prior to her career in patent law, Jaclyn was an associate editor for EC&M, a national electrical construction and maintenance magazine.
