Mohammad officially joined Hovey Williams as an Associate in 2022 after working several months as a Seasonal Staff Associate at the firm. He concentrates his practice on patent preparation and prosecution of both U.S. and foreign patent applications. He drafts and prosecutes a variety of patent applications for inventions in the mechanical, electrical, and software arts industries. His practice extends to a variety of technologies that include semiconductors, batteries, displays, motors, power systems, communication systems and mediums, and artificial intelligence.
While in law school Mohammad was an IP Legal Research Assistant for Professor Andrew Torrance. Mohammad was also president of the Asian Law Students Association and the Muslim Students Association, and he served as Vice President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Students Association.
Prior to joining Hovey Williams, Mohammad gained experience as a Patent Examiner Extern at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as an Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell in the Networks, Integration & Automation division, and as a Radio Frequency Network Engineering Intern at Verizon Wireless.
